Look Up!

Perspective is something a lot of us need, especially me.

Becky B Of Winchester is running a squares challenge, its perspective . In the olden days I used to join in the squares challenges religiously, but the last couple I haven’t really been on my website so much. It’s a shame that I haven’t been on, some of it is to do with the wonderful app I was using on my iPad to post has now ceased to become, it was fabulous and so easy to use. mostly, it has been down to lifestyle and mental attitude to things. I shouldn’t neglect my page, as on some topics I have become no2 on google searches and it is something to be proud off. My site has been running 12 years or something like that, maybe longer as I used to have a different blog before this one and I transferred a lot of things over. In fact this is my third hosted page, my second domain name, as things evolved in my life then so did my name. Anyway, who really cares about the past, all that matters is here and now I guess.

Perspective is something a lot of us need, especially me. I was in a building just a few days ago and I looked up. I took some photos, sadly I didn’t have my glasses on and didn’t set my camera properly and the photographs didn’t look so good. By the time I put my glasses on (I am getting old) I really didn’t have time to take more photographs. So you got the best of what I got. I am in that building a couple of times a week to do filming and other jobs, I didn’t really think about looking up ….

looking up

The theme for July is perspectives, and your Square could contain;

  • Art – the method by which solid objects drawn or painted on a flat surface are given the appearance of depth and distance.
  • Geometry – the way that objects appear smaller when they are further away and the way parallel lines appear to meet each other at a point in the distance.
  • Point of View – a particular way of considering (looking at) something or the capacity to view things in their relative importance
  • Vista – seeing something over distance or time
