‘In the Pink’ from the site www.beckybofwinchester.com. It’s a photo challenge where you post a photo with pink in it every day for the month, the only stipulation is that it has to be square. Today’s link is in the pink.
The most amazing lightning storm occurred while visiting Turkey the past couple of weeks. The day had been incredibly hot, some 39C (102F) and the air felt really heavy. Even though I am a heat lover, the heaviness I really struggled with. That night we could hear thunder in the distance, and literally watched the lightning come closer and closer. The storm lasted a couple of hours, at one point there looked to be two storms with some lightening in the distance as well as the close up forks. In the morning it was as if nothing had happened, the ground had dried and the place was normal again. The thing I did notice was how clean and crisp the air was the next day, it was ‘in the pink’, it felt amazing.
One of the forks of lightening, taken through the window just by chance. The sky looks ‘kind of’ pink, it’s a stretch, I know it, but I just HAD to share.
The theme for squares this month is ‘In the Pink‘ and the one rule as always is that your main photograph must be square. After that the world is your oyster, or should I say flamingo?! To help you get started here are some ideas you might want to consider;
1 ‘In the Pink’ – means perfect condition or in good health, so that could be human or not!
2 ‘Tickled Pink‘ – means delighted, so I’m thinking happy, fun and of course delighted. That could be you or the subject of your photograph.
3 Pink – you can of course simply share anything that is coloured pink
4 There is an extra challenge for those of you up for it – can you manage to combine two of these, or maybe even all three?
Squares is a daily challenge, so your photographs can be from the archives or brand new. If daily is too difficult, then feel free to post every other day, weekly or even just once in the month. No matter how often you post I will include you in my regular pink galleries. Don’t forget though to keep your photo square, and to pingback with #InthePink.
