The last few days have actually been kinda good. Is kinda even a proper word? Since my birthday on Wednesday I actually have ended up busy, but definitely not bad busy in a bad way. I am working on an unannounced project which is taking up quite a bit of my time. It’s all good though I have been enjoying it and I am hoping its something that will continue. On Saturday morning I went over to our local coffee morning and spent time chatting with people there. I really need to get out more with friends but I guess I need to make the most of what I do. I do get lonely sometimes, but when you have children your world revolves around their needs first and time with friends occasionally takes a back seat.
So when other half came yesterday and asked me what I would like to do for the day, I jumped at the opportunity to pick somewhere different. I expressed that although this may not have been an obvious choice for the children to go to, I really wanted to go check out the botanical gardens in Belfast. The children didn’t object, so off we went.

It turned out to be a lovely day, I had pre-prepared our main meal so we didn’t even need to rush back for that. The children admitted to enjoying them selves, especially Toni, who is usually the one that does the teenage eye-rolling.
Here’s a few photos from the gardens.
A belated happy Birthday to you 😊
Thankyou so much.
Lovely way to spend time. I love botanical gardens. great photos. Love the teenage eye roll comment 🙂
It’s a fairly typical response from the 15 year old just now, she needs to get over it quickly.
My three girls did get over it eventually.
That means there’s hope for us yet.
😁😁
Hey I’ve been there! 🙂 Great pictures. And happy birthday!
I love the fact that you have! Next time you visit let me know 😉, blogger meet up. I only live 16 miles away from Belfast in the prettiest village you will ever find.
Oh I definitely will!! That would fun!! 🙂
I am a fan of botanical gardens, wherever I find myself. Belfast’s looks like a gorgeous place for an outing.
It is a lovely place to visit.
