Toys

Dutch goes the photo is a fairly new site for me to follow. It discovered it by looking for people who had posted cool photos on WordPress.

Every Tuesday Dutch has a photo challenge, and this week the topic is Toys.

My children are older now so there are fewer toys laying around, mainly electronic stuff as you will know.

My youngest daughter has this toy bear that she’s had all her life. She carries it everywhere, the bear is probably the most travelled bear in the world (maybe). This bear is called Lorraine, there’s a story as to how it got it’s name. I’ll share it another day. This is Lorraine sitting overlooking Carlingford Lough which is at the the border of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

I have a collection of soft toys. They all have a meaning to me, I keep them in my bedroom.

And finally this bear is one I made. It’s the first crochet bear I attempted, I think it turned out not too bad.

You will enjoy Franks photo challenges. Welcome. I loved the photo of Lorraine and wish I was sitting with her at Carlingford Lough. Looks like a beautiful spot to sit and ponder. Anyone ask why you were having a photo shoot with a bear? Smile. I love it and the memories that go with this.
