It’s Sunday! As if you didn’t know what day of the week it was.
I awoke this morning still feeling unwell, I am pretty sure I have a bug going on, as I am headachy and sickly. However not to dwell on being unwell, or layabout I decided to make the effort and go to worship. We walked into the village, I find the views refreshing and they always lift my spirit. Church was good and everyone seemed pleased to see us, which was nice. The children are always very popular, especially among some of the older members of the congregation. Seb is one of sound and video men for our church too, he has recently learned how to operate the cameras and the minister’s sound system. He is quite rightly proud of himself, as over the last few weeks he has done some of these jobs single handedly, as the usual sound man has been on holiday.
After church we cake home to a nice pot of slow cooked curry and had a leisurely lunch with the family. The afternoon was spent doing a couple odd jobs around the house, well other half did the odd jobs and I supervised him.
This evening we drove into the village for evening worship, it was a really short service so we had planned on going for ice cream after. Sadly that wasn’t to be as other half’s car lock broke and we couldn’t get in his car to leave.
We ended up calling out the break down service and the mechanic managed to get into the car in about 20 seconds!
While I was hanging about waiting for the car to be fixed I took a couple of photos of the views. I love where we live, it is just so pretty.
We never did get our ice cream!
