Boxing Day Dinner

We have a little tradition in our house that we don’t have Christmas dinner on Christmas Day, but make and eat it on Boxing Day instead. In years past we did and I found sometimes it ended up being a flop. The children would be up from the middle of the night then fill up on chocolate, there was more than one year where dinner was just not eaten and enjoyed. Boxing Day dinner is so much more relaxed and it makes the Christmas more special as we celebrate on two days not just one. Anyway the point to this post is to show this cute little light box that my daughter Toni got as a gift. She’s had so much fun with it, I’m not sure where her box came from but I see them everywhere just now.

I have to add in this random photograph of the pavlova we ate, it was delicious and the chocolate oranges were a hit.
